I retired from flying airplanes for Continental Airlines in 2008. A few years later I was gifted a small woodturning lathe and from there began a love for the craft that has brought me back out of retirement. My interests have evolved into working primarily with Texas Mesquite wood, forming pieces with southwestern shapes and adding embellishments that are Native American inspired. I will also occasionally include mineral inlay, turquoise stones and carving features. My desire is to create work that presents beautifully in a home or office setting and work that will last for generations.
